HANGING OUT WITH TACOPOCALYPSE, GUSTO PIZZA AND IPR THIS FRIDAY!

Join us in celebration of Iowa Public Radio’s Studio One programming this Friday night from 5pm til 11pm at Nollen Plaza!  This is the big IOWA PUBLIC RADIO BLOCK PARTY featuring live music Des Moines’ golden guys, the Nadas and The River Monks and food from the greatest taco makers in the entire…metro area…(that is us, smarty pants) and our great friends Gusto Pizza Co!!!!  The whole shindig is being recorded for IPR’s program Java Blend with Ben Keifer to be zapped into listeners’ ear holes at a later date.

What will we be serving?

CRAZY IPR BLOCK PARTY MENU OF CERTAIN NON-DISASTER!

• BRAISED PORK
• VEGAN CHORIZO
• LEMONGRASS PORK
• RED CURRY CHICKEN (IT’S A KILLER NEW FLAVOR, AND OUR RELATIONSHIP STATUS WITH IT IS “COMPLICATED,” BUT IT MAY END UP ON THE MENU FOR GOOD)
• POTATO POBLANO
• BACON CHORIZO! IT IS CHORIZO MADE WITH JUST BACON! TOTALLY CAPS-LOCKABLE!

AND THERE MAY…WAIT…and there may be a few more added to the mix.  It doesn’t seem like a taco party without Potato Poblano tacos…and if we are bringing 5 we might as well bring 6, right?

 

NEVER MIND, we will just go ahead and bring it like it should be broughten.

AND THERE IS A BEER GARDEN WITH REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED FOR PURCHASE BY DOLL DISTRIBUTING. LIKE BUTTON ACTIVATED!!!

It is going to be a really fun night of music, friends, food, fun…yeah, double fun. We look forward to seeing you there!  Bring you appetites!!!!

We will also be serving our full menu at BBC FOR A HUGE RANDY BURK AND THE PRISONERS CELEBRATION SHOW THAT NIGHT ALSO, TACO MAGIC STARTS AT 4, SHOW STARTS AT 8!
