Day of the week comment: As most of you know, another installment of Tacopocalypse Cumming Tap Tuesday is almost upon us. In fact, it starts at 4 pm today…that is VERY close. REALLY CLOSE.
Weather comment: It, once again, probably could not get any nicer out for a ride down the Great Western Trail. You should do yourselves a favor and not miss out on this great riding/taco eating weather (and even if you don’t make it down to see us, you should definitely ride your bike SOMEWHERE).
Menu Comment: Here is what we are starting off with tonight, we have a few things that are going to run out fast but will be replaced by other things.
- Braised Pork
- Vegan chorizo
- Korean Chicken
- WASABI BRISKET IS BACK
- Potato Poblano
- and the rotator: BEEF CHEEK, THEN CHORIZO VERDE, THEN BACON CHORIZO. IN THAT ORDER.
WHAT THAT MEANS: We have limited amounts of cheek and verde, so we will be starting off with the cheek, then when it runs out we will be switching over to chorizo verde, and when THAT runs out we will switch to bacon chorizo. The Tacopocalylpse Compound (aka BBC) has been abuzz with different taco flavors and experiments leading up to our new Bombay Bicycle Club menu rollout this Thursday (new menu to be posted here on Wednesday), and you get to help finish what we didn’t on Sunday and Monday.
So come see Me and the Crew and Bob and his Cumming Tap crew for some superb food and drink, OR trek out to BOMBAY BICYCLE CLUB (8410 Hickman, Clive, our home base where we serve food six days a week) for tacos, and enjoy the last few days of our Thai Shrimp Ceviche and Market Gaspacho.
